Reason being when you travel to a hotel, airport or hotspot 9 times out of 10 you need to login through a web browser to get your internet connection. The IPeV isn’t browser based therefore you will be unable to use it. Get yourself a USB headset from Skype for about $25 or get a USB based phone like USB-W1DL for traveling. For me I’m always sitting in front of my computer when working so I went with a headset. You may want to have the flexibility to walk around.

Also you will need to have two Skype accounts. One for at home and one for on the road.

But I still have a few questions: First I’ve alreay had skype on pc at my home. When I am out of state. Could I use the IPeV phone to call my wife on home computer? or should I buy two IPeV phones, one for my wife and one for me to call each other? or I need to buy aonther skype count on my new IPeV phone?
